Once a container is uploaded in the ‘Container List’ screen it will either show a ‘Ready’ or ‘Not Ready’ status. You can view Container Level Availability information via the container list screen under the ‘Container Availability’ column. A container is displayed as ‘Ready' when the availability date & time entered by the terminal has passed, regardless of any holds applicable to the container.
You can easily subscribe to receive a container readiness notification to be notified when a container becomes available for booking. This means when a containers status changes to ‘ready’ the subscribed email/s will receive a notification.
To subscribe to receive notification of a containers readiness, follow the below steps:
- Select ‘Bookings’ and then ‘Container List’ via the lefthand side navigation menu of the VBS homepage. You will then see your container list.
- Then click the checkbox next to the container/s you want to be notified about and then click the ‘Notify’ button.
Note: you can also select all the containers by clicking on the checkbox located in the header of the 'Book' column. - Then you can either click the check box ‘Notify Me’ or enter the desired email address to be notified.
- Finally click ‘Notify’ and the system will return a screen showing the email was successfully subscribed. Once a container has been subscribed, the check box colour will display green.
