To enable last minute drop offs, you are now able to hold slot/s for certain intended vessels against TBA containers, until you have PRAed the container information.
TBA containers will remain in a ‘Booked’ status with no container associated to it. If your containers are not confirmed with valid PRAed information prior to the end of the zone, they will become ‘No shows’ just as it would on a normal booking.
To book a TBA container, you need to follow below steps:
- Select ‘Bookings’ and then ‘Container List’ via the lefthand side navigation menu of the VBS homepage. You will then see your container list.
- Once in the Container List you will find a list of all your containers, select your 'Drop Off' container/s in the ‘Ready’ status and hit ‘Book’.
- Once on the ‘Book Container Slots’ page, please select the TBA Container from underneath the ‘Drop off’ options. Then select the appropriate slot from the ‘Select your slot’ options that matches the Container you intend to PRA and then after the slot is selected hit ‘Confirm’.
Note: TBA slot configurations and rules could change depending on individual terminal rules. Terminals may set a limit on how many TBA bookings you can make per zone. Once you have selected a TBA Container, the system will highlight the applicable zones available. Once you have utilised all your maximum TBA container bookings the TBA option will become greyed out and unclickable. - Once you have clicked on ‘Confirm’, you will then see a booking summary screen that shows a list of your bookings.
